The bathroom, the air and the linen
The bathroom is where cleansing begins each day. Keep it simple, fresh, and free from harshness; pure water and humble ingredients can do more than any commercial scent.

Toilet fizzies
- 1 cup baking soda
- ¼ cup citric acid
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
Mix until slightly damp, press into mini moulds and dry overnight. Drop one in the bowl to clean and freshen.
Tile and grout paste
- ½ cup baking soda
- 2 tbsp Castile soap
- 2 tbsp water
- 5 drops tea tree essential oil
Spread on tiles, scrub with a brush, rinse well.
Natural drain cleanse
Pour ½ cup baking soda down the drain, then 1 cup vinegar. Wait ten minutes and rinse with hot water.
Air carries memory
Fragrance lingers like prayer. Keep what you breathe pure and honest, herbal, floral, alive.
Linen spray
- 1 cup distilled water
- 2 tbsp witch hazel
- 10 drops lavender · 5 drops rose
Shake before spritzing on bedding or clothes.
Simmer pot air cleanser
Add slices of orange, a sprig of rosemary, a cinnamon stick and 4 cups water to a small pot. Simmer low, replenishing the water as needed.
Every aroma rising in your home can become a gentle prayer; may it speak of gratitude and peace.
